For as long as I can remember, I've always loved art. As a little girl, I carried a sketchbook with me everywhere I went. It was a dream come through when I was accepted to study Fine Arts at the Victorian College of the Arts. Following that I enrolled in a post graduate course in graphic design in RMIT.
I thoroughly enjoy my work and the creative process I go through to find a solution. I describe myself as a pragmatic designer. My work is not extremely "arty". I believe that the most important thing in a design solution is to communicate.
My first university degree was in arts, majoring in Mathematics and Economics. I spent a number of years working in marketing, finance, information technology and management consulting, before making a career switch. I believe that my varied background helps me to understand business issues well, which in turn enables me to deliver better design solutions to clients.
